Day 8 was another walk around town. Stopped by the Hard Rock. Did a 4 wheeler tour through the Baja desert to the famous Cabo lighthouse.

Looks like a I had a case of the Cabo Wabo when I snapped this pic. Ticket to the Sammy show. Heading to town from our hotel. 15 minute walk to middle of downtown. Vette in front of the Hard Rock in Cabo.

El Squid Roe. The biggest and best dance club in Cabo.  About a 1996 Dodge Ramcharger??? They stopped making Ramchargers in 1993. In the US anyway. Look pretty cool. Wonder why they didn't produce in US? On the 4 wheeler expedition. Heading toward the desert. Stopped off at a convenience store for some water. It was only 95-97 degrees that day, and I was heading out into the desert to do some 4 wheeling and trail racing. Stupid?

This was the last part of civilization before hitting the desert. Not fancy, but they had cold water! Outside the c-store. Made it to the dunes in the Baja desert. Gorgeous!! Ocean on one side, dunes in the middle, and desert on the other side.

My leader Jose sitting under a sun hut. Once we made it to the dunes, he told me I could go ride and play around. I drove around for a little while taking some pics and playing on some of the dunes. One of the trails on the desert side. This was easiest one. It was wide and flat.  There were 6 different ones. 6 was professional only. I told Jose to hit the trails, and I would keep up. Not a wise thing to say to some who does this 10 hours a day 6 days a week. It was an hour of the hardest riding I have ever done. By the time we were done with trail 6, I was pleading for him to stop and go back. I was sore for the next 5 days!

Parked on the edge of a 200 foot cliff over looking the Pacific ocean! Wow, what a view.  Jose took me to another cliff. One we were not supposed to out to.  We had to park the 4 wheelers to get to this one. Look at the hill we had to come down to get here! Not exactly from the top, but pretty close! It took me about 20 minutes to make it back up. I am sure being about 100 lbs bigger than Jose didn't help matters much!

This is why. It was a very sharp cliff. Looking down. Looking to the South. On the edge of another cliff!

Aren't I cool!? Heading back from the Dunes, we stopped for another water. My idea. From the C-store looking West toward the dunes / ocean.

Made it back to the hotel. There was a fishing tournament in Cabo that same time. Here a round of boats were heading to check in. Pic taken from the room. Vette checking out the ocean?
